BookMarkingDemon was written on C#. It was designed for automation of posting URLs to different social bookmarking sites. They are message boards, search engines, SEO optimization tools, online favorites, etc. Good program for automated web promotion and SEO.
Now BookMarkingDemon supports 30+ sites and Multiscuttle tool. The last one allows user to post his URL to any site which uses scuttle.org open source script. Now BookMarkingDemon can automatically register a user at supported sites (the user has to enter CAPTCHA only and confirm registration by email when nesessary) and post URLs to these sites.
The program allows users to have multiple accounts on any site. When it is necessary to post any URL, BookMarkingDemon selects random proxy and random account. Hense it is difficult for site owner to determine that URL was posted by automated tool. It looks like posts are perfomed by group of independent people.
BookMarkingDemon is a multiuser program. Preferences are stored in XML file, and each Windows user has its own preferences. Additionally preferences can be imported from or exported to XML file and transported to another computer.
The other benefit of BookMarkingDemon is automatic proxy checker. It can import proxy list from Internet and check it at post time, so it is guaranteed that user's activity will be anonimous.
